Peacock (mini plate)

Some of my earliest memories are sounds. At my childhood home in South Africa, peacocks lived in a forest nearby, and on summer nights you'd hear them calling, that familiar miaauw drifting through the trees. Today, at some restaurants in Cape Town, they still wander right up to your table, trailing those vibrant colours behind them.

This mini plate carries that memory in abstract brush strokes of blues and greens.

Use it for rings and small treasures at your bedside, olives or salt at the table, or on its own as a small piece of art.
