Tall Trees Catch the Breeze No.7

Like trees that catch the breeze, these  pieces hold a balance of stillness and movement. Their strength doesn't come from resisting the wind but from yielding gracefully to what comes, rooted yet free to sway.

We had silver trees in our garden when I was growing up in Cape Town. I loved the soft, velvet touch of their leaves and the way the whole tree shimmered when the wind moved through it. I think that's where I first learned that you can stand tall and still move with grace.

Each piece is shaped by hand and made to hang where it can catch the light. A reminder to walk tall.
